    Ashley is an Assistant Creative Director on Boston University’s Interactive Design team, and spends most of her day investigating ways to make theme development, content management and customization within the Boston University WordPress environment easier for both developers and end users. She guides the addition of new features and functionality to Boston University’s custom theme framework and regularly contribute to the design and front-end development of university-wide user interfaces. She’s also a big believer in education, documentation and her two pet bunnies, Nellie and Peppermint Patty.

    Brianne has been developing for WordPress since 2011, currently building custom WordPress themes for Boston University. She uses her skills and experiences in the tech and guest services industries to not only be a WordPress Wizard, but also a Work Culture Warrior and become a pronounced woman in technology.

    In her free time Brianne is a complete nerd with a love for bad horror movies, Doctor Who, comic books, roller derby, Norse mythology, the search for extraterrestrial life, and technological innovations.

    Duane Mitchell has been a technology consultant in the Boston area for over 20 years. His career has run from graphics, publishing, database, accounting, workflow automation, and traditional IT tasks such as networking and security. His focus in recent years is on open source solutions to business issues such as digital asset management, website developement, database development, application development, and the integration of these solutions “in the cloud” for group collaboration.

    Jim Reevior is a web developer for STAT, a medical and life sciences publication of Boston Globe Media Partners.  He is a longtime technology lover, computer whisperer, WordPress developer and contributor, and also dabbles in DevOps.  Linux is his operating system of choice, although he can speak Windows, OS X and even DOS on occasion.

    After a first career as an academic, John’s been working in digital agencies for the last 15 years, and with WordPress for the last 8. He has been one of the organizers for WordCamp Boston since 2010, and is the CEO of 10up. He now lives in Salem, MA with his wife and dogs. He blogs (very occasionally) at Open Parenthesis.

    Jonathan has been using WordPress since 2007 to build sites of all sizes, covering the entire spectrum of local businesses to enterprises and large universities. He has been a contributor to WordPress Core since 2013. He currently works as a WordPress Developer at Bluehost, where a majority of his time is spent contributing to WordPress Core.

    Based in Southeastern Massachusetts, he enjoys playing and watching baseball, being outdoors, cooking (especially on the grill), photography, and sharing a beverage with interesting people. You can find him on Twitter (@desrosj), or occasionally on his personal blog.

    Kelly Dwan is a developer from Cambridge, MA. She writes JavaScript for Automattic, where she’s worked on a range of projects – from WordPress.com to a new interface for WooCommerce. She also wrote the first React-based theme on WordPress.org. Prior to Automattic, she worked at 10up on a range of client sites from small business websites, to higher education, to enterprise and big media. She is passionate about accessibility, both on the web and in real life.
