Contributor Day — Sunday July 24th

Whether you’ve never contributed to WordPress before, or if you’ve done so for years, you’re invited to WordCamp Boston Contributor day. This is your chance to learn out how to contribute from the experts, hang out with others who love to contribute, and push some of your own contributions — all in one (well, really less than one) day.

We’re planning a fun, active and intense day of learning, coding, testing, documentation and hanging out. WordPress experts and contributors will be present to help you get up to speed quickly with how to contribute to WordPress. Don’t know exactly what you want to do? No problem! Just show up and we’ll get you plugged into a team that needs your help. Not a coder? That’s okay too — there are plenty of non-dev ways to contribute to the WordPress community, including documentation and more.

Just bring your own laptop and we’ll take care of the rest

Suites at BU for WordCamp 2016

Affordable Housing at BU – First come first served.

Knowing that housing in Boston can be expensive, we have contracted 5 suites (with 4 single bedrooms and 2 shared bathrooms) at the BU Dorms at 10 Buick Street for Friday July 22 and check out morning of Sunday July 24th. 10 Buick Street is an apartment-style, air-conditioned residence hall. Each apartment consists of four single-occupancy bedrooms, kitchen, common room, and two bathrooms. Kitchens are not stocked with utensils or other kitchenware. The per person per night rate is $85.00 for single-occupancy. This rate includes bed and bath linen and amenities. You must sign up for both nights for a total of $170. This is simply a great rate for the Boston Area.

Boston University requires that all suites are assigned based on gender.

A charge of $100 per key and $25 per ID will be charged to the program for all keys and IDs lost while in residence or not returned upon departure. Please be sure – cancellations are only refunded if we get a replacement.

You can sign-up for housing here.
