About WordCamp Boston

WordCamp Boston is an annual conference celebrating WordPress, the open source software that powers over 25% of the internet. We’ll have lecture-style sessions, panels, and workshops about WordPress and the tech industry. If sitting in talks all day isn’t your thing, we’ll also have an open area where you can chat with other WordPress users, and a volunteer-staffed help desk for your questions.

LOCATION

George Sherman Union
775 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02215

The venue is accessible via the MBTA Green Line “B” Branch at the “BU Central” stop. Parking will be available but not free, we encourage you to take public transportation if possible. For information about the T, including accessibility of stations, visit the MBTA website.

PARKING

Attendees can park in the Granby lot or the the Warren Towers lot at BU. This is about a 5 minute walk to the venue. There are Red Sox games both Sat and Sun, which does affect parking prices. The daily rate is $12, but goes up to $30 during Red Sox times.

For the Warren lot, if you enter before 3:30pm on Saturday, or before 10am Sunday, you only pay the daily rate. If you enter after those times, you’ll get charged the Red Sox rate.

For the Granby lot, the Red Sox rate applies for entering and exiting.

We also have a small number of closer parking spaces reserved for people who need them, which can be requested on the registration form.
