Potential Accommodations in Boston

We’re exploring multiple options for offering accommodations to attendees from outside greater Boston.

One option would be to reserve dorm-style rooms through Boston University, at a greatly reduced summer rate. These are nice rooms: apartment style, in which four single rooms share 2 baths, a kitchen, and a common living room area.

Please fill out the following poll to help us understand what potential demand might be like for such an option.

We’re also talking to area hotels about more traditional accommodations, but we have to be realistic that July in Boston / Cambridge is more expensive than January was.

  1. Sounds like nice digs close to the conference location, though I did reserve a hotel room on the day tickets were announced. I would cancel those reservations for this setup.

This sounds like a great option. Keeping the cost low for this event is a factor in determining if a trip to #WCNYC is the fall is feasible for me. Thanks.

We looked at the Starwood hotels and looked at each hotel’s website individually under specials and found the first night for under $200 and the 2nd night pay the year you were born in. The older you are the better the deal! Worked well for me.
But, the dorm option is really nice too!
