But, WordCamps and WordPress meetups are typically aimed at adults and working professionals. Why can&#8217;t kids join in on the fun?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We are excited to offer a KidsCamp in conjunction with our normal WordCamp Boston programming in 2019!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Today&#8217;s kids are tomorrow&#8217;s great engineers, designers, developers, and business owners. Introducing them to WordPress and technology early to instill a passion for computer science is important in the technological world that we live in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>KidsCamp tickets are now available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.boston.wordcamp.org\/tickets\/\">tickets page<\/a> for just $20.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A few important details:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The KidsCamp event is <em>only<\/em> on Saturday, July 20th. But, kids are welcome to return for Sunday and attend all WordCamp related events. If returning for Sunday, though, we ask that the parent or guardian also purchase a General Attendee ticket to help with costs.<\/li><li>A parent or guardian <strong>must<\/strong> stay with their child at all times.<\/li><li>A KidsCamp ticket includes a t-shirt for the child, lunch for both the child and parent\/guardian, and access to all WordCamp related events.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For all of the information, please check read the <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.boston.wordcamp.org\/kidscamp\/\">KidsCamp<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/2019.boston.wordcamp.org\/kidscamp-faqs\/\">KidsCamp FAQs<\/a> pages.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The world of WordPress is fun and exciting for everyone.
