Trolley Tour
Boston is a beautiful city with lots to offer. This year, we decided to give attendees a way to explore the city. So, we scheduled a trolley tour of Boston! The trolleys will load in front of the conference venue (George Sherman Union) and finish in front of the after party venue (see below for location announcement).

After Party
We’re also happy to announce that the after party will be returning to White Horse Tavern again this year! White Horse Tavern is 1.2 miles from the venue, making it a nice easy walk or ride share. Both indoor and outdoor areas at the venue are reserved specifically for WordCamp Boston attendees.

The KidsCamp event is only on Saturday, July 20th. But, kids are welcome to return for Sunday and attend all WordCamp related events. If returning for Sunday, though, we ask that the parent or guardian also purchase a General Attendee ticket to help with costs.
A parent or guardian must stay with their child at all times.

If you’ve ever been to a WordCamp, you know that the talks are a huge part of the event. We love that so many people want to share their WordPress knowledge with our community, and have had amazing talks come out of WordCamp. You can even watch last year’s videos online!
Do you have a lesson, idea, or story you want to share with our audience? You should apply to speak. You don’t need to have tons of public speaking experience, all we ask is that you be able to present your chosen topic passionately and respectfully (there are a few other guidelines outlined onthe speaker application).
This year, we want to encourage people to submit talks about Design, Accessibility, and JavaScript in WordPress. Of course, we’ll always have our informal tracks of content for developers, writers, business owners, people just getting started with WordPress…
