Daniel Sullivan is the Executive Director of If I Were President, a new organization working to improve communication between elected officials and constituents. He has managed international development projects with Engineers Without Borders and organized the 2009 EWB Northeast Regional Workshop. Daniel has a BS in Civil Engneering from Northeastern University, and currently works at the NU Center for STEM Education as a Program Coordinator for K-12 outreach. His experience in nonprofit management and civic engagement and organization has helped him lead the If I Were President team to create an effective online e-democracy platform + vision, and a broad outreach model for engaging citizens in constructive, issues-and-solutions-based discourse. An aspiring entrepreneur and social change agent, Daniel sees great potential in the turmoil and paralysis of the current system.
