Hello Cheryl,
Last year all volunteers were given a wrap up note asking them to pre-register for next year’s event. Majority of the volunteers helped because we were over capacity – while we do not have a robust conference budget, we would love for you to register and come again as a attendee!
Best,
Chris
I was unable to attend last year and I’m looking forward to this event. Any chance on-site accommodations will be available? If not, perhaps some economical & close off-campus recommendations? Thanks.
There is some potential for on-site accommodations, which would be apartment-style suites (4 single rooms sharing 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen in each unit). Subscribe to the blog and look for more info in the next two weeks.
Thanks so much for accommodating those of us who are vegan! It’s frustrating when event organizers don’t bother to ask or think they’re all set because there’s salad being served.
I volunteered last year and was told our tickets would be free this year, not just early notification.

We’re working on it as we speak.

Very fired up! Looking forward to WordCamp Boston 2011.
I was there last year and I am REALLY looking forward to it this year!

If you’re vegan, you will love my daughter’s blog: missfiggy.com. We are both going to attend!
Am really looking forward to this and am happy to see that those who have done it before are coming back. Thanks for letting me know about it Chris!
What are you using to handle registrations? It looks really nice.
It’s actually the WP Event Ticketing plugin, provided as part of WordCamp central, which hosts many WordCamp sites.
Wow, so useful. Thanks!
I am a student are there any coupon codes so I can afford to go ?
There is a student ticket for $30, but no coupon codes beyond that, except for speakers and sponsors.
I’m exciting and looking forward to take my WordPress knowledge to the next level by attending WordCamp Boston 2011.
Can’t wait to see everyone!
any nearby accommodations?
Yes, several options listed on the lodging page (which should perhaps be titled accommodations?)
Thanks for the ticket. See you next month at ‘Camp! 🙂
Looking forward to acquiring the latest WordPress knowledge.
Can’t wait!
The line-up of speakers and topics is exciting. I know something as great as this does not just happen. Thanks in advance for all your hardwork!!!!
I am looking forward to this tremendous event. I need housing and am happy to share a space or stay in the dorm for Friday night. Thanks, Linda
I’d like to attend the Friday afternoon session for newcomers as well.
Unfortunately the beginner’s session on Friday afternoon is already sold out with a substantial waiting list.
Thanks–see you in Boston!
Trying to register but only option is LATE REGISTRATIOn even though it says today is last day before late?
Help?
Today is the last day of Late registration. Last day of regular registration was July 8th.
Crud! I thought last day was today.
Oh no! I thought last day was Saturday.
How do I get on the mailing list for next year’s event?
Haven’t even set it up yet, but will definitely post here when we do.
Hi, Where can I find the video that was taken during WordCamp Boston 2011?
We’ve uploaded all of our videos to WordPress.tv, so they should appear there soon (and likely at WordCamp.tv, which is more specific to WordCamps).
In the meanwhile you can also find the videos here: http://blip.tv/bostonwp
